Resveratrol is fast earning the name, the “modern elixir of youth” and it's easy to see why.
It is a natural antioxidant for the support of health, longevity and weight management and is said to be of benefit against free radical damage caused by stress, drugs, environmental pollutants, poor diet or extravagant or extreme lifestyles. It may be a useful addition to a cardiovascular health programme.
Resveratrol, a powerful broad spectrum antioxidant, is the active constituent in red wine and other plants. The Polygonum cuspidatum (Japanese knotweed) is claimed to be the highest known source of resveratrol containing 1,000 times the resveratrol content of grapes.
Dosage: One or two capsules daily, with or without food.
Ingredients per capsule: Resveratrol 100mg (from 200mg Polygonum cuspidatum root extract standardised to 50% resveratrol)
Precautions:
Safety in pregnancy or lactation has not been established. Caution in concurrent use with anticoagulants.
